3 things about Madrid

  1. Nothing has changed since the movie “Barrio”.
  2. I get by better in the underground of Madrid (or even London) than in Valencia.
  3. Everybody has an iPhone (or at least a Blackberry).

Leaving the comfort zone behind

At this exactly moment I have boarded a train that will take me to Madrid and you can take it for granted that it scares me a bit. As the title says this train will take me out from my comfort zone, from the life I could easily live in Valencia: studying Industrial Engineering for some more years and then worrying about getting a job and go on with that peaceful life.

But I don’t really like that, I’m not passionate at all about that and I don’t settle for doing what it is expected for a good person if I don’t love it; maybe some of my classmates will, but not me. If you are asking whether I leave university the answer is no, but if you know me a little you would also know what I do enjoy most and understand why I take my chance on following this dream.

Switched

A fortnight ago I finally committed the bought of the aluminium MacBook I so much longed. For the geekiest ones’ interest it’s the basic model, because I actually didn’t need much more performance and I do appreciate the lightness of a smaller laptop.

I had already fallen in love with this redesigned Apple laptop before it was released in the latest 2008, so when it came the Christmas time and my birthday I gathered all the income I could in order to renew my (not very old) PC.
